Sound familiar?

  • “People call to book while we’re with a client, and we miss them.”
  • “The salon down the block has a Book button on Google. We don’t.”
  • “Our booking page is buried three clicks deep on our website.”
  • “We pay for a booking app, but customers still don’t know they can book online.”
  • “We heard about Reserve with Google and couldn’t figure out how to turn it on.”

What we do

Reserve with Google isn’t a setting you switch on inside Google. The Book button comes from a booking company that Google works with. Our job is to connect the pieces and make sure they work together.

How it works

  1. 1

    Eligibility check

    1–2 days

A short call about how you take bookings now, then a look at your profile and booking tool. If it’s not a fit, we tell you before any setup work starts.

  2. 2

    Booking tool setup

    3–7 days

We set up or tidy your booking partner account so it knows your services and who works when. A brand-new tool takes longer than one you already use.

  3. 3

    Connect to Google

    Up to 1 week

We link the partner in your Business Profile and wait for the Book button to appear on Search and Maps.

  4. 4

    Test and hand over

    1 day

We run test bookings, show your team where new bookings land and how to change hours or block days off.

Is your business eligible?

Honest answer: not every business is. Here’s what decides it.

  • A booking partner Google supports

Reserve with Google only works through scheduling companies that Google has connected. Its partner list includes names like OpenTable and Resy for restaurants, Square Appointments and Booksy for salons, and Mindbody for fitness. The list changes, so we check it for you.

  • A place customers come to

Google’s rules for booking partners ask for a location people can find on Google Maps. If you only travel to your customers, a regular booking link is usually the better route.

  • Services with a set time

A haircut, a table for four, a class or a massage fits well. Custom quotes and emergency calls don’t fit a time slot.

  • Google decides the business types

Google chooses which kinds of businesses can take bookings this way and can change that. We check your case rather than promise.

  • Only in some countries

Google offers it in certain countries, and the US is one of them.

  • Restaurants get a waitlist option

Google’s waitlist feature, where guests join a line from Search or Maps, is only for restaurants and also runs through a partner.

Not a fit? You can still add your own booking link to your Google profile. Google doesn’t show performance data for custom links, so we count those bookings on your website instead.

What it costs

Starting at $500

The starting price is a one-time setup: the eligibility check, setup or cleanup of your booking partner account, the link to your Google profile and a test booking. Your booking partner’s own fees are separate and paid to them, and some partners charge for bookings that come through Google.

What changes the price

  • Whether you already use a booking tool that works with Google
  • How many services and staff you have, and how many locations
  • Moving existing appointments from an old system
  • Adding booking to your website as well
  • Training for your front desk

Questions we hear

Does Reserve with Google cost money?

Your booking partner may charge you for bookings that come through Google, so check their pricing before you choose. Our setup fee is separate and one-time. We’ll lay out all the costs before you commit.

Which booking systems work with Reserve with Google?

Google keeps a list of scheduling partners, including OpenTable, Resy, Square Appointments, Booksy and Mindbody. Partners join and leave, so we check the current list for your type of business first.

How long until the Book button shows up?

Google says your booking provider appears on your Business Profile within a week of connecting it. If the partner needs to match your account to your Google listing, it can take a little longer.

Can a plumber or contractor use Reserve with Google?

Usually not, because it’s built for places customers visit. Businesses that travel to customers often do better with a booking link on their profile or with Local Services Ads, which can take booking requests in many trades.

Will I lose control of my calendar?

No. Google bookings land in your booking tool like any other appointment. You still set your hours and services there. Breaks and cancellation rules stay in your hands too.

What if we’re not eligible?

We’ll tell you as soon as we know, before any setup work starts. Then we add your own booking link to your profile and make booking easy on your website, which still saves a lot of phone calls.
