Pricing & payment

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the work your business needs. Each package on our pricing page shows a starting price, and after a short conversation we agree on the exact cost in writing before work begins.

Do I have to pay everything up front?

No. Projects usually start with a deposit, and the rest is split across milestones we agree on. Monthly services are billed month by month. The payment steps are written into your plan before you sign.

Who pays for hosting, the domain and ad spend?

You do, directly, from accounts in your name. That keeps those costs out in the open and keeps you in control. Our invoices cover our work, not the money you pay Google or Meta for ads.

Does it cost anything to talk with you first?

No. A first conversation and the free website review cost nothing and come with no obligation. You only pay once you’ve seen a written plan and said yes.

Timelines

How long does a new website take?

A starter site often takes 2–4 weeks. A larger business site or an online store takes longer. The biggest factor is how quickly we get your photos and feedback. Your plan lists a date for each step.

Can you have it ready by a certain date?

Often, yes, if we know early. Tell us about your opening day, busy season or event on the first call, and we’ll say honestly whether it’s realistic. If it’s tight, we can launch the most important pages first and add the rest after.

What slows a project down?

Usually waiting: for photos, for logins to your old site or domain, or for feedback during a busy week. We keep a short list of what we need from you, so nothing sits for long without anyone noticing.

Ownership & access

Will my website be in my name?

Yes. The domain and hosting are registered to you, and so is every account we set up. We work with the access you give us, and you can change or remove it whenever you like.

What logins will you ask me for?

Only what the job needs. For a website, that’s usually your domain and hosting accounts. For search or ads, you add us as a user on your Google Business Profile or ad account, so you never have to share your own password.

What happens if we stop working together?

You keep everything. The site and its content stay yours, along with the domain and all your accounts. You simply remove our access. If someone else takes over, we’ll tell them how things are set up.

I don’t have a Google Business Profile or ad account yet. Who creates it?

We set it up with you. It goes in your name and uses your email, so you’re the owner from day one. Google will ask you to verify the business, and we’ll walk you through that step.

Working together

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

Not at all. Bring your goals, your frustrations or a few websites you like. We’ll ask questions and turn them into a practical starting point.

Can you help with a website I already have?

Yes. We start by looking at your current site, what’s working and what needs attention. Sometimes a careful repair is enough, and sometimes a redesign makes more sense. Either way, we’ll tell you which and why.

I’m not good with technology. Is that a problem?

No. You know your customers and your business, and that’s the part we need from you. We handle the technical side and explain each choice in plain English, at your pace.

After launch

Can we keep working together after launch?

Absolutely. Ongoing care, improvements, search and ads can all be part of a longer-term plan that fits your business. You can start with a care plan and add more as you grow.

Do I have to sign up for a care plan?

No, it’s optional. Some owners like knowing someone looks after the site every month. Others would rather call us when something comes up and pay per job.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. We set things up so you can change text, photos, hours and prices on your own, and we show you how at launch. For anything bigger, just call us.

What if something breaks after launch?

Tell us what you’re seeing, even if it’s just “the form stopped sending.” If you’re on a care plan, fixes are covered as your plan describes. If not, we look at the problem and give you a price before we fix it.

Search & ads

How long does SEO take to work?

It takes months, not days. How many depends on your competition and where your site starts. Each month we show you what we did and what changed in calls and searches, so you can judge the progress for yourself.

Can you get my business to the top of Google?

No one can promise that. Google’s own advice is that no one can guarantee the first spot, so be wary of anyone who says otherwise. What we can do is fix what holds your site and profile back, and keep working on the things Google says matter.

Should I use Google Ads or Local Services Ads?

It depends on your business. Local Services Ads charge per lead instead of per click, and they’re only open to certain types of businesses. Regular Google Ads work for almost any business and give you more control. Some service businesses use both.

How will I know if my ads are working?

We tie every call, form and booking to the ad that brought it, because clicks by themselves don’t tell you much. Every month you get a short report: what you spent, how many leads came in and what we’re changing next.

AI

Will my customers know they’re talking to AI?

Yes. We label the assistant clearly and give people an easy way to reach a real person. Being upfront is better for your customers and better for your name.

What if the AI gives a wrong answer?

We build it only on your own information, like your service list and your policies, and set clear limits on what it answers. When it isn’t sure, it hands the question to you. We also review conversations and fix weak answers as part of the monthly plan.

Can AI text my new leads right away?

Yes, with two things in place. People need to agree to get texts from you, and US phone carriers require businesses to register before texting from a regular number (this is called A2P 10DLC registration). We help you with both. This is general information, not legal advice.

Will AI replace my front desk?

No, and it shouldn’t. It handles repeat questions and after-hours messages so your team can focus on the people in front of them. Anything sensitive or unusual goes to a person.
