We set up online stores on Shopify or WooCommerce for shops that sell in person and want to sell online too. Customers pay, pick up or get delivery, and your stock stays in step with the register.
What’s included
Store setup, product pages, payments, shipping and pickup
“Customers keep asking if they can order online, and we have to say no.”
“We take orders through Instagram messages, and some get lost.”
“Our online stock never matches what’s on the shelf.”
“The checkout is so clunky that people give up halfway.”
“Marketplace fees eat our margin, and we never get the customer’s email.”
“We have a store, but adding one product takes all afternoon.”
What we set up
Your online store should fit the way you already work: how you sell, and how orders get packed and handed over. We build it around that, not the other way around.
The right platform for you
Shopify or WooCommerce, chosen to fit your products and your register, and how hands-on you want to be. There’s more on that below.
Product pages that sell
Each product gets clear photos and its price. Shoppers see sizes and options and whether it’s in stock, plus the details people ask about. Categories and filters help customers find things fast.
A checkout that’s easy on a phone
Cards plus wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal where your platform supports them, in as few steps as possible.
Getting orders to customers
Shipping rates and local delivery zones, plus in-store pickup, set up the way your team actually fills orders.
Your register, connected
If you sell in person with Shopify POS or Square, we connect it so stock counts stay in sync between the shop floor and the website.
Order messages in your voice
Order confirmations, shipping updates and “ready for pickup” messages that sound like your shop, not a form letter.
Ready for Google
Product pages Google can read, your products connected to Google’s free shopping listings where they qualify, and sales tracked in Google Analytics 4.
Training for your team
How to add products, change prices, handle returns and run a sale, with a recorded walkthrough to keep.
How it works
1
Plan the store
About 1 week
We go over your products and how orders leave the shop, by mail or by hand. Then we look at your register and payments and choose the platform together.
2
Design and set up
2–4 weeks
We design the store and build the main pages. After that come payments and shipping. Tax settings and the link to your register get set up too.
3
Add products
1–3 weeks
We load your products, or set up an import from a spreadsheet, and check every price, photo and option.
4
Test orders and launch
About 1 week
We place test orders from start to finish, refunds included. Then we go live and watch the first real orders with you.
Choosing a platform
Shopify and WooCommerce both run good stores. The better one for you depends on how you sell and how much you want to manage. Here’s how we help you decide.
Shopify: simplest to run
Shopify handles hosting, security and updates for a monthly fee. It suits shops that want to focus on selling, and Shopify POS works with it out of the box for in-store sales.
WooCommerce: more control
WooCommerce adds a store to a WordPress site. There’s no platform fee. Hosting and updates are your job, though, or a care plan’s. So is security. It suits shops already on WordPress or with unusual product options.
Payments
Both take cards and popular wallets. Processing fees go to the payment company, not to us. On Shopify, most outside payment providers also add a Shopify fee per order, so we compare options with you first.
Delivery and pickup
Both handle shipping rates and local delivery. In-store pickup works on both too. We set the rules to match your neighborhood and your staff’s time.
Your register
Shopify POS shares products and stock with a Shopify store on its own. Square connects to WooCommerce through the official WooCommerce Square plugin. The plugin keeps products and stock in sync.
Product pages
Both support sizes, colors, several photos per item and stock levels. A large catalog can be imported from a spreadsheet instead of typed in.
Sales tax
Both platforms can calculate and collect sales tax. What you must collect, and where, is a question for your accountant, and we set up the store the way they advise.
The store account and payment account are in your name, and so is the customer list. Platform and payment fees are paid to those companies directly and are separate from our price.
What it costs
Starting at$6,500
The starting price covers a store with your main pages and a first set of products loaded. Design and checkout are included. We connect payments and set up shipping and pickup. Test orders and launch are part of it, plus training for your team. You get a fixed price once we’ve seen your product list.
If you want hosting and security handled for you and the simplest setup overall, Shopify is usually the better fit. If you already have a WordPress site or need more control, WooCommerce makes sense. We recommend one after seeing your products and how you sell.
Can my online store sync with my register?
In most cases, yes. Shopify POS shares products and stock with a Shopify store automatically. If you use Square, the WooCommerce Square plugin can keep products and inventory in sync with a WooCommerce store. We check your setup before promising anything.
Can customers order online and pick up in the store?
Yes. Both platforms offer local pickup at checkout. We set pickup hours, a “ready for pickup” message and simple steps so your staff knows what to do.
What fees will I pay besides your price?
Shopify charges a monthly plan fee, and card payments carry processing fees on either platform. WooCommerce has no platform fee, but you pay for hosting and any paid plugins. We list these costs for you before you choose.
Do I need to charge sales tax on online orders?
Often, yes. The rules depend on what you sell and where your customers are, and some items are taxed differently from others. Please check with your accountant, and we’ll set up the store’s tax settings the way they advise.
Who owns the store and the customer list?
You do. The Shopify or WordPress account is in your name. So are the payment account and your domain, and the customer list too. We work with the access you give us.
Can you move my store from another platform?
Yes. We can move products and customers from platforms like Wix, Squarespace, Square Online or an older store, depending on what each one lets you export. We also redirect old product links so shoppers and Google find the new pages.
