Accessibility Statement

Last updated October 9, 2026

We want everyone to be able to use dpiwebstudio.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive tools. We also help our clients make their own websites accessible, so we hold our site to the same standard we recommend to them.

Our goal: WCAG 2.2 Level AA

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and Level AA is the level commonly used as the benchmark for websites in the US.

What we do

Here is how we build the site with accessibility in mind:

  • Text has a color contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, so it’s easy to read.
  • Every menu, button and form works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are on the page.
  • A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump past the menu.
  • Each page has one main heading and a clear order of headings below it.
  • Images and illustrations have text descriptions.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and error messages explain what to fix in words, not only with color.
  • Buttons and links are big enough to tap, at least 24 by 24 pixels.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations stop.
  • Pages work when zoomed in and on narrow phone screens without scrolling sideways.

How we check

Before launch and after major changes, we test our pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard, on phone and desktop screen sizes. Automated tools catch only some problems, so we also rely on people who use the site to tell us when something doesn’t work for them.

Where we know we fall short

Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as the chat assistant, our scheduling tool, links to Google Maps and the spam check on our forms. We pick these tools with accessibility in mind, but we don’t control their code. If one of them gets in your way, please call or email us instead, and we’ll help you directly.

Tell us about a problem

If you find something on our site that’s hard or impossible to use, we want to hear about it.

  • Email: hello@dpiwebstudio.com, with “Accessibility” in the subject line
  • Phone: call the number on our Contact page
  • Mail: DPI Web Studio, 60 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019

It helps if you tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using. If you’re not sure about some of that, just tell us what you can.

What happens next

We’ll confirm that we got your message and reply within a reasonable time. We’ll tell you what we plan to fix and roughly when. If a problem stops you from getting information or contacting us, we’ll help you another way in the meantime, for example by phone or by sending the information by email in a format that works for you.
